missingWrote a review on Dec 25noisy area
The air conditioning unit barely cools, likely due to a dirty filter, which leads to discomfort. The presence of truck noise from the nearby thoroughfare can be disruptive, especially for light sleepers. Poor shower pressure fluctuates from hot to cold, making for a frustrating experience.

The accommodation was warm and comfortable.
I was deeply disturbed by the noise from the trucks passing right outside my window, particularly at night. It felt more like a truck stop than a lodge. while I was there, the on-site restaurant was unexpectedly closed, forcing me to scramble for dinner elsewhere. Frustratingly, the reception had limited hours, and I couldn't reach anyone for assistance when the loud disturbances occurred.

Straight facts, no fluff
Rooms are clean and spacious, perfect for families. Accessibility to the beach and town is a major plus. My son loved watching the trains pass by. The bathroom had excellent water pressure and temperature. Even with a key retrieval system, staff remained attentive and helpful throughout our stay. Truly a delightful experience.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with a kitchenette and a large fridge. The staff were extremely helpful, even lending me the lodge van to travel into town. the location made it easy to enjoy a beautiful sunset at the nearby beach.

Chur! Nice comfortable rooms, but that spa bath was a letdown. Loved the friendly staff and awesome meals at the restaurant, though!

An excellent stay! The room was large, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped with a kitchenette and a comfortable king-size bed. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the beautiful beach, and the staff went above and beyond, even offering to provide room service from their restaurant that serves delicious meals at great prices.
Noisy road.

Had a great stay with a comfy bed and a spacious, well-maintained bathroom that was wheelchair accessible. Loved the relaxing garden area and the quick beach access for some downtime. Just a heads up, the fridge was a bit tricky, but it didn't ruin our experience. 😊

Just a decent option for a flash stay in Gisborne with good value for price. The bed was comfy, making it easy to crash after a long day. Don’t expect much from the fridge. it froze everything I placed inside.
